International MFI Update on Vision Giving

Thank you to the 102 churches and leaders who joined together this last October to pledge towards the vision fund for work around the world. Because of these pledges nearly $100,000 was committed to serving leaders and churches in other parts of the world.  While we reach out and bless many pastors and leaders throughout the world, our goal is for our International Networks and Affiliates to become either partly or fully self-supporting so that we can continue to expand our influence into other nations around the world. We are happy to be able to report on some of the following areas of the world where that has been achieved.

Trinidad - March 16 - 18, 2017

The MFI West Indies Conference was another great time of fun, friendship and food, as well as an outstanding deposit from the Word of God. The conference was held at the Naparima Bowl in the southern city of San Fernando, Trinidad. The theme for the conference was “Kingdom Mindset”, and everyone was challenged to compare the “Local Church” with the “Kingdom of God” .

The final day of the conference was lead by a younger group of leaders sharing their perspective on Kingdom Mindset. Our times of prayer, personal ministry, meals together and hanging out together were truly refreshing.

Thank you MFI for sowing into Trinidad and the West Indies! We are better leaders today because of Ministers Fellowship West Indies!

Nigeria- April 18 - 20, 2017

The MFI Nigeria Conference based on the theme of NEXT, in keeping with the content of the USA national conference. Over 150 pastors attended the conference. The pastors were blessed in so many ways, including personal healing, ministry encouragement, elevated faith, and the initiation of strategic next steps. We were able to give the pastors Bible study books, and the whole group was blessed and unified.

The pastors of MFI Nigeria meet monthly to pray together and gain stragetic support from one another. They all have solid commitment to one another. Nigeria is a nation that is faced with many challenges, including corruption, commitment to an unadulterated gospel, unity, kingdom focus, false prophets and poverty.

MFI has been huge blessing to the pastors of MFI Nigeria. Thank you MFI so much for your Vision giving to bless and pour into the leaders of Nigeria!

Our Purpose

The purpose of the annual vision offering is to provide practical assistance to church leaders in many parts of the world. This includes provision of ministry resources, financial and ministry assistance for Affiliate and Network conferences, partial scholarships for international leaders to the Annual MFI conference, international travel assistance for apostolic leaders, and the staffing of an international director. While our monthly dues establish a budget which provides staff for the entire network, a web-site with resources and communication tools, regional leadership conferences throughout North America and facilitates an international conference that fosters a three-decade history of relationships, it does not allow for significant influence in other nations.

Our churches rally together in October to pledge and contribute towards the strategic influence and expansion of MFI beyond North America. We are privileged to be a part of a network of churches that are having Kingdom impact throughout the world in over 45 countries. The report above is just a small sampling of what is being accomplished through the MFI Vision fund.

If you or your church would like to join with us in the 2017 vision giving opportunity, you can still partner with the many other churches and leaders who are already involved. Simply contact the MFI office and let a team member know that you’d like to make a difference too!
